The Games

Zelda Breath of the Wild

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Game of year winner in 2017 and it’s not hard to see why. Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is probably one of the best Nintendo games on the system. It was literally a breath of fresh air with its sprawling open world and creative physics engine. Go anywhere, climb anything, if you can see it you can get to it.

Super Mario Odyssey

Super Mario Odyssey

If Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the best Nintendo game on the system, Super Mario Odyssey isn’t far behind. The next true 3d Mario since Super Mario Sunshine. Perfect to explore and collect by yourself and it has a handy assist mode for any children who want to explore and experience the world of Super Mario Odyssey.

Splatoon 2

From its clothes, gear, weapons and music Splatoon 2 feels like a self contained culture that has created a trendy and stylish world all within a game. It gets a tremendous amount of love from the development team in the form of free updates. It has events called Splatfest every so often to keep the community engaged and the game feeling fresh. It’s a shooter that’s family friendly and something that only Nintendo could have pulled off.

Starlink

Starlink: Battle for Atlus

Nintendo has had the support of Ubisoft since the Wii days. Ubisoft even supported Nintendo during the dark era of the Wii U. Thankfully for Nintendo, Ubisoft has been hitting some real home runs on the Switch. First with Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and now with Starlink: Battle for Atlus. Starlink with it’s inclusion of the Starfox characters has stealthy became the best Starfox game in ages. It’s fun, fast and well made everything Starfox Zero on the Wii U was not. Plus this comes with an Arwing toy that is more than worth the price of admission.

Sea Of Thieves Simple Gold Guide

Sea Of Thieves Simple Gold Guide

If you are like me, you’re thinking to yourself “man items in Sea of Thieves are so expensive!” But worry not I have a spot on Sea Of Thieves Simple Gold Guide. The main task in this guide in completing merchant missions delivering chickens. They are one of the easiest most efficient ways to earn money in Sea of Thieves. Read on to find out how to master the way of the chicken.

Step One: Get Those Skulls

When you first start the game instead of going on gold hunts, turn your attention to the Order of Souls faction. This faction offers you quests to take down a horde of skeletons and take out their leader. the Leader will drop a skull which you bring back to an outpost to sell. These missions are usually quick and not to tough to tackle on your own. Be sure to stock up on bananas while doing the Order of the Souls missions, as you will be fighting a lot of skeletons. The skulls you can receive are; Foul skull (100-250 gold), Disgraced Skull (250-400 gold), Hateful skull (500 gold), Villainous skull (800-1700 gold), and Stronghold skull (2000-4000 gold). Keep in mind you will be receiving mainly foul and disgraced skulls and maybe a few hateful skulls at the beginning.

Step Two: Catching Chickens

Once you have acquired some gold from hunting skulls you can move on to the Merchant faction. The merchant will send you on quests for chickens, pigs, and snakes. What you want to target is chickens, specifically black and gold chickens. These missions are much quicker and less deadly than the Order of the Souls mission. This is the main way to earn gold in this Sea Of Thieves Simple Gold Guide. What you want to do is pick up all three available merchant missions from the merchant on the dock. Return to your ship and vote in one of the missions. You want to aim to get a black and gold chicken mission, but red and black is decent as well. Avoid doing any mission that sends you after white chickens as they are not worth much.

Gearing Up and Finding Chickens

Every time you vote on a mission return to the merchant on the dock an collect cages for the mission. If you get a white chicken mission, collect the cages for that mission then vote to cancel the mission. You want to have the spare cages. That way if you come across gold chickens you can trap them and keep them on your ship. You can sell them when you return to port.Though selling chickens you don’t have a mission for yield less gold. I recommend keeping them until you have a mission to sell them. The chickens will not die on your boat and do not require any attention. This is why the chicken missions are much better than the other animals. There are many islands that will have chickens, and most are near ports. A few of the islands that normally have chickens on them are; Chicken Isle (imagine that), and Crooks Hollow. You can find a full list of islands that have chickens here.

Step Three: Cashing In

A simple black and red chicken mission will usually bring in around 1,000 gold, instantly making it better than the treasure chest missions. A black and gold chicken mission can bring in anywhere from 1,600 to 2,400 gold per trip! Usually, you will be able to find both chickens you need on the same island. This is better than having to sail to two of three different islands like the Order of the Souls missions. The Chicken missions are one of the easiest ways to make butt loads of gold and are simple to do if you find yourself sailing alone.
