Sea Of Thieves Simple Gold Guide

Sea Of Thieves Simple Gold Guide

If you are like me, you’re thinking to yourself “man items in Sea of Thieves are so expensive!” But worry not I have a spot on Sea Of Thieves Simple Gold Guide. The main task in this guide in completing merchant missions delivering chickens. They are one of the easiest most efficient ways to earn money in Sea of Thieves. Read on to find out how to master the way of the chicken.

Step One: Get Those Skulls

When you first start the game instead of going on gold hunts, turn your attention to the Order of Souls faction. This faction offers you quests to take down a horde of skeletons and take out their leader. the Leader will drop a skull which you bring back to an outpost to sell. These missions are usually quick and not to tough to tackle on your own. Be sure to stock up on bananas while doing the Order of the Souls missions, as you will be fighting a lot of skeletons. The skulls you can receive are; Foul skull (100-250 gold), Disgraced Skull (250-400 gold), Hateful skull (500 gold), Villainous skull (800-1700 gold), and Stronghold skull (2000-4000 gold). Keep in mind you will be receiving mainly foul and disgraced skulls and maybe a few hateful skulls at the beginning.

Step Two: Catching Chickens

Once you have acquired some gold from hunting skulls you can move on to the Merchant faction. The merchant will send you on quests for chickens, pigs, and snakes. What you want to target is chickens, specifically black and gold chickens. These missions are much quicker and less deadly than the Order of the Souls mission. This is the main way to earn gold in this Sea Of Thieves Simple Gold Guide. What you want to do is pick up all three available merchant missions from the merchant on the dock. Return to your ship and vote in one of the missions. You want to aim to get a black and gold chicken mission, but red and black is decent as well. Avoid doing any mission that sends you after white chickens as they are not worth much.

Gearing Up and Finding Chickens

Every time you vote on a mission return to the merchant on the dock an collect cages for the mission. If you get a white chicken mission, collect the cages for that mission then vote to cancel the mission. You want to have the spare cages. That way if you come across gold chickens you can trap them and keep them on your ship. You can sell them when you return to port.Though selling chickens you don’t have a mission for yield less gold. I recommend keeping them until you have a mission to sell them. The chickens will not die on your boat and do not require any attention. This is why the chicken missions are much better than the other animals. There are many islands that will have chickens, and most are near ports. A few of the islands that normally have chickens on them are; Chicken Isle (imagine that), and Crooks Hollow. You can find a full list of islands that have chickens here.

Step Three: Cashing In

A simple black and red chicken mission will usually bring in around 1,000 gold, instantly making it better than the treasure chest missions. A black and gold chicken mission can bring in anywhere from 1,600 to 2,400 gold per trip! Usually, you will be able to find both chickens you need on the same island. This is better than having to sail to two of three different islands like the Order of the Souls missions. The Chicken missions are one of the easiest ways to make butt loads of gold and are simple to do if you find yourself sailing alone.

Tesla VS Lovecraft Review

By Mike BC

Tesla VS Lovecraft – What You Need to know!

Tesla VS Lovecraft is a top down, twin stick shooter. Nikola Tesla has just uncovered his ability to harness the power of electricity.  A fiction writer by the name of Lovecraft gives him a stern but mysterious warning.  In short, he tells Tesla not mess with what he doesn’t understand.  This leads to an all out mech war between the two men.  You play as Tesla defending against the onslaught of fantasy creatures from Lovecraft’s mind.

Tesla VS Lovecraft – Choosing sides!

Tesla is your main character.  One of the main issues I had with this game was that I wanted to play as Lovecraft and control his hordes of literary nightmares.  Unfortunately, the game only allows you to play as Tesla.  This is a huge misstep in the game because had they gone the extra mile to include a Lovecraft side, there could have been a great vs multiplayer mode.  Instead, the game chooses sides for you.

Tesla VS Lovecraft – Great Improvements!

When I first opened the game, I didn’t know what to expect from it.  The opening cut scene immediately grabbed my interest.  When the first level started, I audibly groaned.  The last twin stick shooter I reviewed for 10tons was Jydge.  I lambasted some of the options of that game on the podcast because it felt too much like a mobile game in ways that it shouldn’t on a console.

I am happy to report that every criticism I gave that game was improved in Tesla VS Lovecraft.  Tesla VS Lovecraft doesn’t use achievements to open new areas of the map.  The game doesn’t give you pointless tasks that require you to play the same levels repeatedly.  You get a full experience that you can just go right through.

Tesla VS Lovecraft – Play or Pass?

Tesla VS Lovecraft is a great option for you no matter where you play.  The game is available now on XBOX One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.  You won’t get bored playing because every experience will be new and fresh.

Super Lucky’s Tale Review

By: Joel Brooks aka Falcon

The Unlucky Tale of a Fox Named Lucky

I have a confession to make. It has been a little over two weeks since I have touched my Switch. I know, I know, let me explain. This started with a huge marketing campaign by Xbox for Game Pass, a monthly subscription to over one hundred Xbox titles. For the low price of $11.99 CND ($9.99 USD) I decided to give it a shot.

There are some amazing games on Game Pass! One that has me really hooked is Super Lucky’s Tale. Now, if you have heard about this game, you might be thinking, “you’re hooked on this mediocre 3D platformer?” Yes, and let me give you my thoughts on why I think it reviewed poorly! Super Lucky’s Tale was released on November 7, 2017, just 11 days after Super Mario Odyssey. This unlucky fox… named Lucky… fell victim to the Mario effect.  Let’s take another look at this cute little fox named Lucky outside of the massive shadow that Mario cast.

The Adventure Begins

Super Lucky’s Tale is a 3D platformer that has a lot of the problems that affect all 3D platformers, but the charm and art style of this game makes it easy to overlook the game’s shortcomings. If you’re looking for a super challenging game play and tight platforming, this may not be the game for you. In Super Lucky’s Tale, there are a variety of tasks to complete in each level. The game is a very enjoyable experience. What I enjoy most about this game is that it’s the perfect introduction to 3D platformers. I enjoyed seeing my son experience this game genre for the first time.

New Life on Game Pass

After my time with Super Lucky’s Tale, what do I have to say and think about it? I enjoyed how welcoming this game was and how easy it was for anyone to play no matter the skill level. Another great thing that this game has going for it is that it’s included with Game Pass. In the end, Lucky wasn’t so lucky when it first came out. Game Pass makes me believe Lucky will find new life and win the hearts of Xbox fans.
