Splatoon 2 new weapon sets

As of June 1 2018 there are some new additions in Splatoon 2. Four new weapon sets wear added as well as a new stage.

We have received a new variation of the Rapid Blaster. It’s sub weapon is a splash wall and has ink armor as its special.

We are treated to my favorite set of dualies in the game. This time they are paired with a splat bomb and a ink storm.

I’m not going to lie this one right here is the set I’m least excited to use. A new undercover sorella brella. You will be using a splat bomb and the baller.

This is the set that I am most interested in using. This carbon roller comes with burst bombs and a new special autobomb launcher.

Wahoo world

Wahoo world is the new map this time around. It looks like a awesome board walk complete with fair rides. I’m looking forward to playing some ranked matched on this stage.

Well those are all of the new additions added to Splatoon 2. This could be the last update before we get the octoling DLC.

Splatoon 2 3.0 Update, Nintendo Switch

On April 24 Nintendo released a huge 3.0 update for Splatoon 2 on Nintendo Switch. This latest update is one of the biggest updates Splatoon 2 has seen. The 3.0 update contains, over 100 new articles of clothing. A new ranked mode by the name of rank X. A new multiplayer map Camp Trigger fish, a great remake from the first Splatoon. There was some weapon balancing, and also a bunch of bug fixes. More on Rank X

Most Notable Weapon Balances

Splatoon 2 3.0 Update

The most notable weapon balances to me came to the sniper family of weapons. Now when you fire off your sniper rifle, you will ink the area under your feet as well. Changes have also come to my favourite sub weapon. The curling bombs have been the most heavily nerfed. The curling bomb will now change its size depending on how long you hold R for. This change will also effect the curling bomb launcher.

Splatfest changes

Splatoon 2 3.0 Update

There will be some much needed improvements to our favourite block party known as Splatfest. When you have players disconnect from your match your splatfest power won’t decrease. When revealing results they will be showed to the nearest 100 of a decimal point.

Changes to multiplayer

Now when you have players disconnect you will not lose freshness on your main weapon meter.
